Backhoe operator — City and County of Swansea

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a backhoe operator in City and County of Swansea, Wales. You will work in a demolition and site-clearance yard. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) Your main tasks: • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly 1+ years on the tools preferred. We offer £1,750 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Share your details and we will call you back.
