Furniture maker wanted in Douglas County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a furniture maker in Douglas County, Georgia. You will be based on a commercial fit-out site. Day to day you will cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
