Immediate opening: metal caster (Georgia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a metal caster in Treutlen County, Georgia. On the job you will handle: • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale You should have: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Rotating shifts.
