Now hiring: we are hiring a courier driver in Hamblen County, Tennessee. You will be based at a car rental agency. Day to day you will report accidents, breakdowns and vehicle damage to the supervisor; load and unload parcels and secure the load with straps and ropes; keep fuel receipts and update the daily trip sheet; arrange routine servicing and renew insurance and PUC documents; carry out daily pre-trip checks on tyres, engine oil, coolant, brakes and lights; deliver goods to customers and collect signatures or proof of delivery. You should have: • Valid police verification / background check • Willingness to work shifts, weekends and overtime • Familiarity with basic vehicle checks and maintenance 2+ years on the tools preferred.
