Reinforcement steel fixer — Abadam

Great opportunity: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Abadam, Borno State. You will be based on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Day to day you will place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Rotating shifts.
