Lift installation engineer • Chesterfield County, Virginia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Chesterfield County, Virginia. Day to day you will run load and overload tests with test weights; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork. Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift.
