Slinger signaller — Ilorin South

Immediate opening: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Ilorin South, Kwara State. You will be based in a heavy machinery workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio You should have: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Confident with standard crane hand signals 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
