Retail butcher — Worth County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a retail butcher in Worth County, Iowa. You will work in a hotel or restaurant butchery. Ideal candidate: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required On the job you will handle: • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Season and marinate meat on request • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
