Now hiring: rebar fixer (Mississippi)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Pontotoc County, Mississippi. The job is at a high-rise construction project. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations The role involves: • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions Six days a week, one day off.
