Lift technician — City of Lexington

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift technician in City of Lexington, Virginia. You should have: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Your main tasks: • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
