Great opportunity: we are hiring a gypsum plasterer in Hancock County, Kentucky. What we are looking for: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day On a typical shift you will clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration.
