Sample machinist wanted in Phelps County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sample machinist in Phelps County, Nebraska. You will work on an export house sewing floor. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
