Reinforcement steel fixer • Edgar County, Illinois

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Edgar County, Illinois. You will work on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Day to day you will assemble column and beam cages on the bench; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Rotating shifts.
