Pipe tig welder • Dyer County, Tennessee

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Dyer County, Tennessee. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. You will inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode. You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection 2+ years on the tools preferred.
