Groundworker wanted in Atascosa County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a groundworker in Atascosa County, Texas. You will be based on a road and bridge project. The role involves clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel. What we are looking for: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker $22 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
