Ladle pourer • Reagan County, Texas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Reagan County, Texas. On a typical shift you will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. Requirements: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience.
