We are recruiting: elevator repair technician (Nebraska)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Seward County, Nebraska. You will be based in a machine room on the rooftop. Requirements: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Day-to-day duties: • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
