Steel erection rigger wanted in Clarke County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Clarke County, Virginia. You should have: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Confident with standard crane hand signals On a typical shift you will check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; read lift plans and method statements before starting.
