Bar bender and fixer wanted in Pickens County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Pickens County, Georgia. On a typical shift you will tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder. You should have: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
