Ideal candidate: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor On the job you will handle: • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet Rotating shifts.
