Urgent requirement: rigger (Iowa)

Now hiring: we are hiring a rigger in Carroll County, Iowa. Day to day you will read lift plans and method statements before starting; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area. Requirements: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
