The role involves: • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors You should have: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Physically fit and comfortable working at height Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
