Now hiring: we are hiring an uPVC window fabricator in Lyon County, Minnesota. The job is on a window-and-door production line. You should have: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres Day-to-day duties: • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash Full-time, day shift.
