Tyre bay technician — Carmarthenshire

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tyre bay technician in Carmarthenshire, Wales. You will be based in a commercial truck tyre depot. Your main tasks: • Handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights • Inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills • Keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres What we are looking for: • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres • Awareness of workshop health and safety • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage £2,850 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
