Wood machinist wanted in Solano County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a wood machinist in Solano County, California. You will check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles. You should have: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Own basic hand tools • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $250 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
