Great opportunity: lifting rigger (Wyoming)

Now hiring: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Sweetwater County, Wyoming. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. On a typical shift you will guide loads through tight openings into their final position; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position. Requirements: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Confident with standard crane hand signals Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
