Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc turner in San Joaquin County, California. Your main tasks: • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances You should have: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $260 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
