Reinforcement fitter — Telford and Wrekin

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Telford and Wrekin, England. Day-to-day duties: • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers Ideal candidate: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
