Tree and shrub pruner — Grundy County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tree and shrub pruner in Grundy County, Iowa. Day to day you will plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings. You should have: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $230 per day plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
