We are recruiting: slinger signaller (Indiana)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a slinger signaller in DeKalb County, Indiana. The job is in a heavy machinery workshop. Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Day-to-day duties: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $200 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
