Rigging foreman — City of Hampton

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rigging foreman in City of Hampton, Virginia. You will direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; read lift plans and method statements before starting. What we are looking for: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
