Sand plant operator • Coconino County, Arizona

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Coconino County, Arizona. You will shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. You should have: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
