Steel fixer — Lawrence County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel fixer in Lawrence County, Tennessee. What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Your main tasks: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
