Join our team: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Harding County, New Mexico. The role involves: • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator You should have: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
