You should have: • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience The role involves report defects and book the unit in for servicing; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
