Countertop fabricator — Southeast Fairbanks Census Area

Immediate opening: we are hiring a countertop fabricator in Southeast Fairbanks Census Area, Alaska. The job is on a residential building site. The role involves: • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish • Fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin • Work from cutting lists and installation drawings • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish Requirements: • Willing to work at heights for facade cladding • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
