Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator in Lumpkin County, Georgia. The job is on a busy construction site. The role involves: • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines You should have: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures Part-time with flexible hours.
