Great opportunity: machine operator (earthworks) (Maryland)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Garrett County, Maryland. You will be based at a drainage and utilities contractor. Requirements: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence The role involves: • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits.
