Great opportunity: we are hiring a butcher in Santa Rosa County, Florida. You will work in a meat processing plant. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day The role involves: • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
