Immediate opening: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Elliott County, Kentucky. The job is on a structural steel site. Requirements: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work The role involves read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks.
