Building site helper — Rankin County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a building site helper in Rankin County, Mississippi. You will work on a residential housing site. Requirements: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage On a typical shift you will dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
