Sheet metal press operator — Erie County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Erie County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a busy press shop. The role involves clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges. Requirements: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
