Rebar fixer — Armagh City Banbridge and Craigavon

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Armagh City Banbridge and Craigavon, Northern Ireland. You will work at a precast concrete yard. The role involves tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing. What we are looking for: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
