MIG welder wanted in Buffalo County

Join our team: we are hiring a MIG welder in Buffalo County, Nebraska. You will work at a busy production line. On the job you will handle: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing Ideal candidate: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
