Urgent requirement: we are hiring a quality control inspector in Allamakee County, Iowa. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. Requirements: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems On a typical shift you will check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches.
