GMAW welder • Mille Lacs County, Minnesota

Vacancy available: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Mille Lacs County, Minnesota. You should have: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings The role involves set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
