Concrete labourer — Livingston County

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Livingston County, Illinois. You will carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker. Ideal candidate: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Physically fit and comfortable working at height Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
