Banksman — Crawford County

Join our team: we are hiring a banksman in Crawford County, Kansas. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. You should have: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Your main tasks: • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
