Immediate opening: we are hiring a fitter on the line in Monroe County, Alabama. The job is in a packaging and assembly workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out a visual quality check for scratches, gaps and missing parts • Report jams or tool faults to the line leader straight away • Keep pace with the takt time and pass the unit to the next station • Log defects and place rejected units in the rework bay • Follow the work instruction sheet for each station Requirements: • Can read work instructions and basic measurements • Good hand-eye coordination and steady fingers for small parts • Minimum 10th pass or ITI is an advantage Six days a week, one day off.
