UPVC window fabricator wanted in Newport

Immediate opening: we are hiring an uPVC window fabricator in Newport, Wales. You will be based on a window-and-door production line. On the job you will handle: • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame Ideal candidate: • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
